In addition to in-port supply, Clipper Oil offers bunkering at sea via high-seas fuel tankers. We work with approx. 20 high-seas fuel tankers in the Pacific to supply marine vessels (fishing and other) looking for competitively priced fuel. Our main supply areas are offshore Ecuador/Peru/Panama as well as offshore Kiribati/Marshall Islands/Solomon Islands/FSM.

Taking fuel at high-seas is convenient and can save vessel owners thousands of dollars by avoiding costly port fees and lost travel time. The majority of the tankers in the Pacific only supply MGO although some high-seas tankers also supply IFO-30cst and IFO-180cst. All of the fuel supplied by these tankers meets international specifications and conforms to Regulations 14 and 18 of Annex VI of MARPOL 73/78.
