Puerto Limon (9°N 83°W)

Puerto Limon is a port located on the eastern coast of Costa Rica against the Caribbean sea. Puerto Limon contains two port terminals, Limón and Moín, which permit the shipment of Costa Rican exports (primarily banana) as well as the anchoring of cruise ships. Limon is primarily a commercial port which handles over 2,500 cruise and cargo ships per year.
